Rep. Riley Introduces Fair Data Act to Shield New York Ratepayers

The bill follows a statewide one-year moratorium on new AI data centers in New York and local complaints of steep utility bill increases in the Oneonta area, where one resident's monthly NYSEG bill more than doubled year over year.
